Östängens Gård

A new small farm in Sonö, Norrtälje, built around a closed-loop system: hens and Gotland sheep fertilise the vegetable garden, which in turn feeds the animals. The farm also keeps bees — a tradition in the family for over 50 years. Both owners work from home, giving them plenty of time each day to properly care for their animals. The farm shop is always open with a varied selection of vegetables depending on the season. From May 24th through October, the farm shop is staffed on Wednesdays between 15:00 and 18:00.
